About My Dogs
My dogs are Gwynndd (Gwyneth) and Taff (Taffy)- both are boys but don’t ask why they have girl names!!!!
These dogs were given to me by my father. Gwynndd is a 14 year old English Springer Spaniel from Flush Star Gundogs, trained by Jim Karlovec.
Gwynn lives to hunt, he has the heart, but his body sometimes says no.
My dad always had springers, so this is the kind of dog I grew up with.
Taff is a 5 year old English Cocker Spaniel, also from Flush Star Gundogs.
I first hunted with English Cockers a few years ago on a pheasant hunt with my dad in North Dakota. I fell in love with them.
On April 23, 2003, my father called to tell me that he found a new dog for me- Taff, the English Cocker. I met Taff three days later-April 26, 2003- on the day my father passed away.
During his first season with me in 2003, Taff flushed 17 pheasants (16 roosters and 1 hen) on 3 hunts at Deer Creek, in Ohio. Later that season, he flushed 23 grouse in the Adirondacks in two days.

This is Stanley, the latest addition to the family, and
hunting team. As you can see, this is his favorite hunting posture...he can
see the birds really well as they fly away. |
| Stanley is also known for his stalking abilities.
In the picture to the right he is breaking in his new camouflage
gear for hunting reindeer |
